Evelyn Gown

The Evelyn Gown has a languorous ease. The bodice features a gently sloping overlay, adorned with a delicate hand-beaded floral design rendered in bugle beads, sequins and faux pearls, accented with antique gold and suspended on fine silk rouleau straps. The neckline is bordered with spherical white beads, and the overlay is edged with a deeply romantic beaded fringe. The princess lines accentuate the waist and cling to the hip, spreading out into a graceful train. The back is cut in a low V, and fastened with an invisible zip at the centre.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made-to-order and take 6-12 months to create.
