Zinnia Gown

The Zinnia Gown is inspired by the Clara Gown and exudes refined elegance. An ethereal design of branching dandelions is suspended on a tulle overlay. Shades of soft ivory and pale silver are rendered in glass beads and sequins. Hand-cut chiffon petals are carefully frayed, and accented with faceted crystals. The tulle is lightly gathered at the front to silk straps that meet at the centre back, and the fitted waist joins a circular peplum that undulates gently over the hip. The skirt is fitted to the hip and then flares out to the floor, where it falls into a modest train. The plunging v-neck is echoed by a deep, open back where the dress is fastened by an invisible zip.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made-to-order and take 6-12 months to create.

The Zinnia Gown has a close-fitting bodice, and the skirt is fitted to the hip and is true to size.

This gown is made from pure silk chiffon and Italian tulle. It is lined with Indian satin.
