India Gown

The India Gown is contemporary and ethereal. Inspired by our iconic Isra Gown, this striking two-piece has a fully hand-beaded bodice and flowing skirt. Delicate flowers rendered in sequins and hand-pleated georgette are accented with tiny glass beads in shades of pale gold and ivory. Branching leaves fashioned from bugle beads and faux pearls adorn the length of the bodice, and a delicate leaf border edges the sleeves, neckline, hem, and skirt waistline. The skirt is suspended from a single silk-covered button at the navel, revealing the waist beneath the bodice. The full A-line silhouette spreads into a soft train, and the skirt is fastened with an invisible zip at the centre back. The bodice is lined at the front, and the sleeves and back are sheer. A small keyhole at the back, secured with a single covered button and loop closes the neckline. The side seam opens with an invisible zip. Choose between beaded cap sleeves or organza puff sleeves.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made-to-order and take 6-12 months to create.

The India Gown bodice has a tailored fit. The skirt is fitted on the waist and is true to size.

This gown is made from pure silk Georgette, and lined with Indian Satin.
