Dallas Gown

The Dallas Gown is an inimitable couture piece. The entire surface of this princess line gown is meticulously hand-beaded in sprays of flowers in shades of ivory and pale gold. Rendered in glass beads and sequins, the centre of each flower is accented with faux pearls. The plunging V-neck is echoed at the back, and the sleeves and back are unlined, showing hints of skin. The deeply romantic voluminous sleeves are gathered above the elbow, and on the upper arm, and the sleeve tapers elegantly at the wrist. A narrow unadorned band encircles the waist, and the skirt is fitted to the hip before spreading out gracefully in a gently sloping tier, ending in a regal train. A fine rouleau tie finished with handmade silk petals secures the back shoulder, and the gown is fastened with an invisible zip at the centre back.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made-to-order and take 6-12 months to create.

The Dallas Gown has a close-fitting bodice. The skirt is fitted on the waist and hips and is true to size.

This gown is made from nylon tulle, and lined with pure silk chiffon.
