Bardot Gown

The Bardot Gown recalls the romance of the 1940s. Hand-beaded semi-precious stones, glass beads, and sequins adorn the cuffs and waistband. The bodice features a crossover front, which is gently gathered into a blouson waist. Sheer bishop sleeves with silk-covered button cuffs float gracefully as you walk. The panelled skirt flares gently from the hip and has a regal train. The gown is fastened with an invisible zip at the centre back.

Each Bo & Luca piece is carefully hand-beaded in India by artisans who are trained in the traditional art of tambour embroidery. Our silk is hand-dyed in loose-leaf white tea, which creates a characteristic soft ivory hue. All Bo & Luca gowns are made-to-order and take 6-12 months to create.

The Bardot Gown has a relaxed fit bodice, is fitted at the waist and hips and is true to size.

This gown is made from pure silk chiffon. The lining is Indian satin.
